Maintenance tips:

- Notice the colour in the 'dark months': plants displaying sufficient colour will blossom for considerably extended periods.

- Hydrangeas require a bright location, however keep out of intense sunlight.

- Water twice a week to keep the potting soil moist. A 15-minute submersion treatment once a week is also beneficial to the plant. Be mindful however to allow the plant to thoroughly drain afterwards. Remove any excess water in the outer pot or dish.

- Hydrangeas love fresh, relatively damp air, so do not place the plant anywhere near central heating. Also avoid any draught and large temperature fluctuations.

- After the blossoming period the plant may be placed in the garden to blossom every year. Once planted outside in the garden the plant is winter hardy. When placed outside in pots please observe a minimum temperature of 5°C.
